Get your Zumba on & raise money for Southmead
The big finale to dance teacher Emily Holloway’s 10 Dance Challenge to raise money for Southmead Hospital Charity is a three-hour zumbathon.
Emily’s previous challenges have taken in everything from flash mobs to ballroom dancing, tap to trapeze.
The zumbathon will take place at BAWA Health & Leisure Club in Filton on Sunday, May 15 between 2pm to 5pm and is free to attend.
is needed now More than ever
Everyone is welcome, even if you have never done Zumba or any other exercise before. Join in for as much or as little as you can and you can go at your own pace.
There is no need to book your place as participants can just turn up on the day. Entry to the event is £10 for adults and £5 for children and spectators – with all money raised by sponsorship going to Southmead Hospital Charity.
Emily said: “In true Zumba spirit, the event will include a variety of dance styles with uplifting music guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
“There will be a team of energetic instructors to keep you motivated throughout the event, but there will be no pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with – so come along and join the fun!”
