Dog attacks child and dog
A dog has been seized by Avon & Somerset Police and their owner arrested following an incident on Raleigh Road in Bedminster.
According to eyewitnesses the dog, believed to be a Belgian Shepherd, allegedly attacked a young girl as well as another dog.
Five police cars attended the scene at around 11.45am on Thursday.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “A member of the public secured the dog which has now been seized and taken to a secure location.
“Those attacked did not suffer serious injuries and were treated at the scene by St John’s Ambulance. They did not require hospital treatment.
“The dog’s owner, a woman in her mid-50s, was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
