Crimewatch appeal over unsolved Bristol rape

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Jun 24, 2015

The victim of an unsolved rape inquiry has spoken out almost a year after she was attacked.

In a fresh appeal to witnesses of the incident just off Park Row last August, the 20-year-old woman said: “I can spend hours at night just sobbing and I’m stuck in these flashbacks.

“It’s completely changed my personality…I don’t think I’m the same person that I was.

The victim was sexually assaulted outside Irving House, off Park Row, at about 1.15am on Sunday August 17, 2014.

Det Sgt Jenny Farman appealed for anyone who knows the man in the CCTV footage to come forward.

The man was is wearing a dark coloured shirt with short sleeves and light coloured trousers.
