Cancelled: Piss-up in brewery
An event in a brewery as part of Bristol Beer Week has had to have a venue change because the organisers forgot to get a license.
Tomorrow’s ever-popular Beef & Beer event will now not be hosted at the Wiper & True and Ashley Down brewery in St Werburgh’s, but The Goods Yard on Temple Quay around the back of Temple Meads.
Beef, beer, live music and DJs will still be offer from midday to 10pm, with the Chomp truck making an appearance before the team open a restaurant on St Nicholas Street.

An extensive range of beers will be on offer from both breweries, including Wiper & True’s Bristol Beer Week special, Pero’s Beer.
In a statement, the organisers said: “The management of Wiper & True, Ashley Down and Chomp would like to take this opportunity to refute any suggestions that we cannot organise a piss-up in a brewery.”
