Bristol awards ceremony shines light on South West talent

The Bristol Pavilion played host to the MMG Regional Awards 2017, celebrating the South West’s entrepreneurs, business owners, musicians, and community leaders.

Hosted by Bristol’s very own Steven Krazy Draper (WordLife), the ceremony on April 8, featured guest presenters and live acts. Notable figures from Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, Cardiff, Newport and Bath all participated in the awards.

Members of the public voted for the winners, which included Bristol café owner Sal Kefenste, owner of The Portland Café in Portland Square, and Bristol rappers King Aggi and Ace Brown.

Best Reggae Artist / Act – Aleighcia Scott

Best Music Video – B Double M (Up & Down)

Best Music Producer – Ace Brown

MMG Honours – GMG Clothing / Gabos Graphics

MMG Honours – Aspiration Creation Elevation

Lifetime Achievement Award – Mrs Wynters
