Passengers travelling from Bristol Temple Meads to Severn Beach on Wednesday, August 14 on the 20:34 train will be treated to a special drag performance.

Raucous, bingo-based fun with singing and dancing abound, the performance is part of an initiative by Severnside Community Rail Partnership, highlighting how train travel can bring people together.

Drag Queen Bingo on the Train is the latest event. The partnership has recently put on Games on the Train, with tea and chat for the over 50s and Singing for the Brain on the Train with the NHS Dementia Wellbeing Service as well.

Showing that rail journeys can promote diversity and inclusion, Heather says: ”The series of events re-enforce the message of the railway being open to everyone.”

The Chocolate City Sisters will perform on the 20:34 service from Bristol Temple Meads to Severn Beach.
