New dog-friendly cafe coming soon to Bristol
A coffee house created by Labrador lovers is soon bringing their pet-welcoming cafe to Bristol.
There is already a Coffi Lab in Portishead, with their first Bristol cafe due to open in March in a former Lloyds bank on Gloucester Road.
Coffi Lab founder James Shapland set out to create a “focal point of leafy neighbourhoods where family and friends could come together without having to leave their canine companions at home”.
Shapland opened his first cafe in Llandaff, dedicated to his fox red lab Dylan.
Coffi Lab in Bristol will be the growing business’ tenth cafe and the third in England, with others spread across Wales.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the Coffi Lab team said: “Bristol, get ready- our Horfield Lab is opening Saturday, March 8th 2025!
“Nestled on the corner of Gloucester Road and Dongola Ave our crew are busy putting the finishing touches on this beautiful old bank.
“From our roasters to our bakers to our baristas, we’re all incredibly excited to join the neighbourhood and open the doors for exceptional coffee from Soil to Sip.”
