Mocha Mocha opens opens second cafe

By Martin Booth  Friday Feb 21, 2025

On its opening day, the counter at Mocha Mocha was heaving with pastries, baguettes and cakes.

There were also eight different flavours of cannoli: pistachio, lemon, caramel, Nutella, ricotta, dark chocolate and white chocolate.

Bristol’s second Mocha Mocha opened for its first day of trading on Monday on College Square, just off Anchor Road.

In what was previously Rod & Ruby’s, the new cafe is conveniently located for offices including Hargreaves Lansdown next door but will have to compete with a Costa that is only a few hundred yards away.

The original Mocha Mocha on St Michael’s Hill opened in 2012 and is especially popular with university students.
