Work is currently underway on Pizza is Lovely in the Carriageworks on Stokes Croft which is due to open on Saturday.

They will be located next to the Far Side and Hotplate, and close to another business coming soon, Terra Cafe.

Former web developer Julian Guy founded Pizza is Lovely in 2021, originally based in the Orchard Inn in Spike Island.

Since 2023, Pizza is Lovely has worked closely with the team at Left Handed Giant, serving pizzas in Renato’s on King Street and the LHG Brewpub in Finzels Reach.

The news of Pizza is Lovely’s latest premises has been greeted with delight.

@gurt_grub on Instagram said that Pizza is Lovely “is no doubt a cult pizza hero in Bristol”.
