Bristol’s new cafe hosting doggie brunches

By Safiya Bashir  Wednesday Sep 8, 2021

A new cafe on Park Row is hosting regular doggie brunches, complete with puppucinos and blueberry pancakes for your favourite pooches.

Flour House, which opened in the building formerly home to Murrays cafe earlier this year, is serving a botanical-inspired menu for seasonal brunches, lunch and cakes.

The cafe was opened by Charly Kennedy, who has been working non-stop since the cafe’s opening back in June.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!

The menu is seasonal, with the options changing every month to keep things fresh and exciting.

Flour House is, of course, dog friendly. Charly explains why she went one step further with by launching the monthly doggie brunch.

“I wanted to make it completely clear that we are more than happy to have dogs in The Flour House!”

“We had puppucinnos and dogs can choose between breakfast biscuit and mini bacon pancakes. People are really excited about this – there aren’t many people who do dedicated doggie things in Bristol,” said Charly.

Flour House has been opened for just under two months and already, Charly says the feedback and support have been great.

“Everyone in the area is really friendly and have been really keen to support us. We’ve already handed out 200 loyalty cards and so many have come back fully stamped.”

“This is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I was so wrapped up in the excitement and can’t believe it’s finally happened. The atmosphere on opening day was amazing. I’m so happy with how it’s come together.”
