Forwards Festival announce replacement headliner
Forwards Festival has announced that jungle legend Nia Archives will be playing on the Downs on Sunday evening.
The lineup change follows a last-minute cancellation from American rapper Doechii.
Via social media, the team at Forwards said “we would like to extend huge thanks to Nia and her team for stepping in so last minute to save the day”.
“We cannot wait to welcome the Queen of Jungle to Bristol for what promises to be a very special performance up on the Downs.”

This is the second time the performer will appear at Bristol’s festivals this summer, following her headline slot at Ashton Court’s Love Saves the Day in May.
“We would like to also thank all of you for remaining patient with us whilst we worked hard to find a suitable artist that you all deserved at such short notice,” added the Forwards team.
“The warm comments, understanding and support shown by our community have helped remind us as to why Bristol is such a special place.”
