Doechii cancels Forwards festival appearance
Deochii has pulled out of Forwards, just days before the festival.
The American rapper was a major artist due to be performing as part of the festival’s Sunday lineup on the Downs.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the Forwards team said: “We are very sad to announce that Doechii will not be performing at her upcoming shows.”
Other than cancelling her appearance at Forwards, the artist has also pulled out of shows scheduled at All Points East in London and Rocke en Seine in Paris.
The Forwards team added: “We’d like to apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome Doechii to Forwards in the future.
“She is an incredible artist and we were as excited as you were to bring her to our hometown of Bristol.
“We are so proud of this year’s Sunday lineup, with three amazing female headliners in Jorja Smith, the Last Dinner Party and Olivia Dean gracing our stage, as well as a plethora of other amazing musical talent across the day.”
