In photos: Bristol Beacon opening night

By Martin Booth  Friday Dec 1, 2023

Music has taken a long time to return and it has taken a lot of money to get here, but finally live music once again filled this historic concert hall which has had one hell of a glow-up.

A few musicians from Paraorchestra dressed all in white sat on seats in the stalls among the audience at the opening night of the Bristol Beacon before making their way slowly to the stage.

Thursday evening saw a specially commissioned piece of live music, Trip the Light Fantastic by Surgeons Girl, conducted by Charles Hazlewood and accompanied by visials from Limbic Cinema showing off the Beacon Hall in all of its glory.
