Ishmael Ensemble announce collaboration with Dubkasm
Ishmael Ensemble have announced a new remix of the acclaimed EP, New Era.
Previously partnering up with Rider Shafique on the 2023 EP, producer and saxophonist Pete Cunningham said of the collaboration: “Rider is often associated as an MC with drum and bass and dubstep but his vocal ability far exceeds being pigeon holed, I think we both learnt a lot about our own potentials working on this EP as it was a step into new territory for us both.”
The collective have now collaborated with Bristol duo Dubkasm who have remixed the body of work in the classic dub-style.
