New free cult film night launched
Retro Cinema is a new free monthly cult film night that kicks off at the Surrey Vaults on Thursday, February 16, with the afrotastic blaxploitation classic Foxy Brown. Recently selected by the BFI for inclusion in its Black Star season, this stars the great Pam Grier as a woman bent on revenge after her government agent boyfriend is shot down. It was a major influence on Tarantino’s Jackie Brown, which helped to revive Grier’s career.
The event kicks off at 7pm, with D’Ham spinning suitably funky tunes before and after the screening.
EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.
