The Florida Project
Sean Baker's follow-up to his acclaimed, iPhone-shot Tangerine
Imaginatively titled sequel Paddington 2 is the big release this week, though arthouse audiences are more likely to flock to The Florida Project. It’s also the main weekend of the Afrika Eye festival at the Watershed. We’ve gathered all the film screenings here for your convenience. This week’s event cinema includes Manifesto live from the Tate Modern with Cate Blanchett, Bristol Film Festival’s on location screening of Some Like It Hot, Imelda Staunton in Follies live from the NT and the Bolshoi’s The Taming of the Shrew. Your Name kicks off the Watershed’s short More Than Miyazaki season of Japanese anime. And if you’re especially keen to see Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool before anyone else, a couple of multiplexes have previews on Thursday 16 November. Follow the links for cinemas and screening times and go here for our fully comprehensive film listings.
