By Sarski Anderson  Friday Oct 8, 2021

Fifty venues across west Bristol will play host to approximately 150 local artists over one weekend as a popular art trail returns.

Visitors will be encouraged to explore West Bristol Arts Trail at their leisure over the weekend of October 16 and 17.

This year’s trail will take in art shown in a multitude of different spaces, from homes and studios to hotels, school halls and churches.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

The event is free, and the vast array of artists displaying their work ranges from ceramicists and sculptors to photographers, fine artists, printmakers and jewellery designers.

Among the entrants for 2021 include self-styled ‘pandemic artist’ Martin Palmer, who was inspired to express himself creatively during lockdown.

“All my work has been created in my new home studio under the shadow of Covid,” says Martin.

“In this challenging of times, painting has provided me with a new and unexpected passion for, and interest in, the faces and the places around me.”

West Bristol Arts Trail 2021 runs over the weekend of October 16 & 17. For a full list of artists and venues, visit westbristolarts.com.
