Art / BS4 Arts Trail
St Anne’s Open House and BS4 Arts Trail join forces again
Over the weekend of June 13-14, artists and makers across BS4 are preparing to participate in the BS4 Arts Trail – their annual celebration of local creativity.
This year promises to be the biggest event to date, with over 100 participating artists inviting people to discover their work and find out more about their process.
As well as the all-important food and drink businesses, there will be over 30 assorted venues across the area opening their doors for the weekend.
From shops and cafés to homes, studios and community venues, it’s an enlightening chance to purchase locally produced art directly from the source.

Those keen to get involved themselves can enlist in various workshops, gallery tours and other activities to suit all ages across the trail – encompassing printmaking, ceramics, glass art and music.

“BS4 has been hit hard by the recent closure of the incredible Bristol Blue Glass”, she reflects, “and I think it’s more vital than ever to support local artists and craftspeople.
“We are a small, quiet and beautiful part of Bristol that I think many people don’t really know exists.”
Buoyed by the decision to team up with St Anne’s House – who once again will be opening their doors to visitors over the same weekend – the hope is that this community of creatives will be put firmly on the map.
