PRSC hosts 10-day People’s Art Winter Fair
PRSC has announced the return of its People’s Art Winter Fair, which is now in its fifth year.
Running for 10 days from November 21, the event will feature more than 80 artists, makers, sculptors, painters, photographers and creators – all of whom will be showing and selling their work.
A busy programme of events includes an opening party, creative workshops in everything from china decoration to tile art and collage, and a live improv comedy spotlight.
There will also be an artist talk from the School of Activism & PAF on Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey, whose work sits at the intersection of art, activism, biology and ecology.

And alongside the main exhibition and daily Christmas makers market, there will be a bar open serving hot drinks and locally sourced beer, cider and wine.
“The People’s Art Fair embodies our belief that creativity flourishes in community,” says PRSC director, Lisa Furness.
“This November’s exhibition showcases the incredible depth of talent across Bristol’s creative landscape, from traditional fine arts to experimental practices.
“It goes to show that there’s such a wealth of talent just waiting for the chance to get involved and we couldn’t be happier to be able to give them the opportunity.”

The People’s Art Winter Fair is at PRSC on November 21-30 at 12-6pm daily, with an opening night on November 20 at 6-9pm. Visit www.prsc.org.uk or follow @peoplesrepublicofstokescroft for updates.
