Mount Without hosting exhibition of photos of an extraordinary school year

By Martin Booth  Monday Sep 6, 2021

During their time in Year 6, primary school pupils documented an extraordinary school year which has now been turned into an extraordinary photo exhibition.

The exhibition is being hosted at The Mount Without, with dozens of black and white photos of display of a school year where Zoom classes, face masks and social distancing became the norm.

The framed photos are on display in the former St Michael on the Mount church next door to the former St Michael’s on the Mount Primary School, now known as Willow Park.

As Bristol24/7 has previously reported, Children in Year 6’s Birch class were given free reign over the course of the entire school year to document to document their last year as primary school pupils.

Now their work can be seen on display as the children get ready to move on to secondary school and their former school opens with a new name.
