Bristol team launch new tech platform
A new innovation management platform has been launched by a team based in Bristol.
Solverboard is described as an ‘all-in-one’ platform for innovators to find, test and deliver ideas for their organisations.
The platform is focused on strategy-led innovation, allowing businesses to align their innovation with their objectives.
The platform has been recognised by leading corporations, with major names like Network Rail and the British Council requesting early access.
Solverboard, which sits under the parent company Istoria Group, has been co-founded Philip Atherton, Charlie Widdows, and Tim Marsh.

Philip says that in-depth interviews were carried out with more than 100 innovators to develop the new platform.
“The feedback we’re getting now is that Solverboard will genuinely make it easier for innovation managers to bridge the gap between creative ideas and real-world solutions to their business’ challenges,” he said.
Charlie adds that Solverboard brings together a series of innovative processes into a single workflow.
“Ultimately it guides businesses through a proven innovation framework so that they can innovate better – whether they’re trying to create a new product, become more sustainable, or manage an entire transformation programme,” he added.
While Tim says that Solverboard is a strategy-led – rather than an idea-led – tool.
“Innovation managers have a tough job and there is a lack of tools out there built specifically for them, so we’ve made Solverboard a place where they enjoy being that will help to bring the rest of the business into their world,” he said.
