Bristol software provider wins top regional tech award

By Milan Perera  Wednesday Sep 10, 2025

The Bristol-based eSignature software provider Signable has been named Scale-Up of the Year for 2025.

SPARKies Awards, organised by TechSpark, celebrate the excellence in South West’s tech community.

Signable, who entered the awards for the first time, impressed judges with its revenue growth and  “team-first & culture-led” approach.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

The judges said: “Signable’s impressive revenue growth is driven by taking innovative solutions to global players, demonstrating their creative and business vision, all whilst providing a work environment the team love.”

The eSignature provider, based at Unity Street, counts Aardman Studios, University of Edinburgh and Co-Op among its clientele.

Over the past year the company has expanded into international markets, built new partnerships and enhanced its technical infrastructure, while maintaining a strong focus on staff wellbeing, flexible working, and continuous learning.

The firm made the list in “UK’s Best Places to Work for Women” this year. The list is considered a global yardstick on workplace culture.

Chief executive Olly Culverhouse said the accolade reflected the company’s commitment to “scaling with integrity, impact, and innovation”.

Culvershouse said: “Winning Scale-Up of the Year means a lot to all of us. We’ve grown quickly, sure – but what really matters is how we’ve done it.

“We’ve kept things honest, thoughtful, and team-first every step of the way. We care about building something people enjoy being part of, whether that’s our customers using the product or our team showing up every day.

“I’m massively proud of what we’ve achieved, and even more grateful to everyone who’s helped get us here – our team, our partners, and the brilliant South West tech community. This award is a real boost as we head into our next chapter.”
