A banking group, with its UK headquarters in Bristol, has been awarded Best Ethical Financial Provider award for the fifth consecutive year.

Triodos has won the accolade at the British Bank Awards 2026, where it also received a “highly commended” recognition in Best Current Account Provider.

After processing thousands of votes Triodos scored 4.8 out of five, cementing its position in impact and ethical financing in the UK.

It was also shortlisted as a finalist in eight categories, including the Best British Bank, Customer Service Champion and Best Investments Provider.

Roger Hattam, chief commercial officer at Triodos Bank UK, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised once again as Best Ethical Financial Provider and to achieve ‘highly commended’ in Best Current Account Provider this year.

“Our customers are true advocates for what we stand for – choosing ethical financial products and supporting a banking sector that is more transparent, diverse, and sustainable.

“They recognise the power that their money has to drive positive change, and these awards are their invitation to others to join the movement of sustainable banking.”
