Bristol-headquartered energy firm to relocate
The energy firm OVO is set to move its headquarters to sustainable premises.
The green energy giant will relocate from its current offices at 1 Rivergate to the Crescent building at Temple Back, in line with its sustainability goals.
OVO will occupy the entire fourth and fifth floors of the building, which offers a total of 22,894 sq. ft of space.
The company was attracted by the wide range of facilities on offer, as well as the building’s sustainability credentials – BREEAM Excellent, EPC A and Net Zero Carbon in operation as part of its recent refurbishments.

The building also boasts energy-efficient systems, bike-friendly designs, and flexible, sustainable working arrangements for employees.
Julia Diggs, vice president of people at OVO, commented: “We’ve been working hard to find a space that truly reflects our culture, our commitment to zero-carbon living, and the way we work.
“Bristol has been OVO’s home since 2014, and we’re proud to be part of the community. We’ll be collaborating with our people to ensure the office design serves their needs today while evolving with us to meet the demands of the future.”
CEG, the landlord of the premises, expressed delight at welcoming the first tenant to the newly refurbished building.

Paul Richardson, investment manager at CEG, explained: “It’s fantastic that OVO will be Crescent’s first occupier, and we look forward to welcoming the team. I’m sure they will appreciate the fantastic range of facilities on offer.
“Everything we have delivered at Crescent is designed to create a vibrant, contemporary, and healthy environment for those who work here.”
OVO was founded in Bristol in 2009 by Stephen Fitzpatrick and has since been a pioneering presence in community energy projects and renewable energy for homes and businesses.
The move is expected to take place early next year.
