Bristol-founded computer hardware firm marks milestone year
A Bristol-founded tech company has ended the year on a high, reporting significant growth in both turnover and staff numbers.
Computer hardware firm the Exacta Group has reported strong performance, with turnover set to reach £21m in 2025, marking a 35 per cent year on year increase.
The parent company of Blackcore Technologies and Exacta Technologies has expanded its workforce by nearly a quarter over the past year and now employs more than 70 people, as rising global demand drives increased production.
Growth has been supported by a major expansion of its assembly team and a strategic restructure allowing the two brands to operate independently.

Exacta, which started its journey from a Self Storage unit in 2001, has its headquarters in Emersons Green
Now entering its 25th year of trading, Exacta has come a long way since it was founded in a Self Storage unit in 2001.
As part of its growth strategy, Blackcore Technologies has opened a new 17,000 sq ft headquarters in Emersons Green, designed to boost innovation and scale production.
The group’s export led approach has also delivered strong performance in North America and the Far East.
Looking ahead, the Exacta Group has set its sights on turnover of up to £25m in 2026, underpinned by continued global expansion, new product development and ongoing investment in its Bristol base.
The firm enjoyed a particularly strong year in 2025, winning two major honours at the Tech South West Awards, including the Tech Company of the Year award.

“By investing in new facilities, expanding our product set and strengthening global partnerships, we’ve laid the foundations for continued momentum into 2026 and beyond,” said Nick Rogers, founder and chair of Exacta Group
