Dunleavy Vineyards announce new sparkling rosé

By Miles Arnold  Wednesday May 1, 2024

Dunleavy Vineyards, renowned for their still rosé, sparkling white, and playful sparkling red, has unveiled its latest creation: a sparkling rosé. The Bristol based winery, known for its minimalist intervention approach to vineyard cultivation, has ventured into crafting a small, limited edition batch of sparkling rosé.

Ingrid Bates, the founder of Dunleavy Vineyards, expressed her enthusiasm for the new release, stating, “We’re really excited to be releasing our new sparkling rosé and can’t wait to see what people think of it. It’s made using the traditional method and we think captures the perfect balance of fruit, sugar, and acidity. We love it!”

Dunleavy Vineyards maintains a commitment to sustainability by exclusively using two principal grape varieties, regent and seyval blanc, both of which require minimal chemical intervention due to their modern hybrid nature. The resulting wines have garnered numerous awards and boast low sulphur content.
