Barcan+Kirby welcomes new legal talent
Barcan+Kirby, the renowned Bristol-based law firm, is proud to announce the addition of four talented Trainee Solicitors to its growing team. The firm’s commitment to nurturing legal talent remains unwavering, and the arrival of Clare Boulton, Jamie Lodge, Harvey Rainey, and Aishah Din marks the beginning of their exciting journey at Barcan+Kirby, commencing in September 2023.
The selection process for these trainees was a rigorous one, with aspiring solicitors invited to the firm’s assessment centre. This immersive experience allowed candidates to familiarize themselves with the values and culture of Barcan+Kirby, interact with fellow trainees, and gain insight into their career paths. Through various activities, the firm assessed if these individuals were the right fit for the organization.
Clare Boulton, with prior experience as a Paralegal in Private Client and Litigation, has embarked on her journey in the Commercial Property department at the Gloucester Road office. Harvey Rainey, whose background lies in Financial Litigation and Professional Negligence, now serves in the Personal Injury department in the city center office.
Aishah Din and Jamie Lodge, both holding master’s degrees in law, have taken their first seats in the Family departments at the Kingswood and Gloucester Road offices, respectively.
Over the course of their two-year training contracts, these four trainees will undergo four distinct seats, gaining invaluable experience under the mentorship of senior staff. This exposure allows them to develop their legal expertise, build confidence, and actively contribute to client matters.
Additionally, the trainees will benefit from Barcan+Kirby’s Training Academy, where they can share experiences with their peers, fostering relationships, gaining firm-wide exposure, and showcasing their project management skills.
Bill Willcocks, Managing Partner at Barcan+Kirby, expressed his congratulations to Clare, Harvey, Jamie, and Aishah on securing their training contracts. He emphasized the firm’s commitment to equipping them with thePro essential tools to succeed in the legal profession.
