Barcan+Kirby strengthens Court of Protection team with two senior appointments
Barcan+Kirby has bolstered its Court of Protection team with the appointment of partner Caroline Featherby and legal director Leigh McDonough, both joining from Enable Law.
Caroline, who qualified as a solicitor in 2014, specialises in acting as a Court of Protection Deputy for property and financial affairs, particularly for clients with acquired brain injuries. She will oversee existing deputieships, build relationships across the firm’s network, and drive further growth within the team.
Caroline said: “I am really looking forward to building on an already very successful and strong foundation, and working towards further growth and expanding the Court of Protection offering at Barcan+Kirby. We have a great team, and I am really excited to be a part of it.”
Leigh, who qualified as a solicitor in 2017, specialises in managing the property and financial affairs of individuals unable to do so themselves due to brain injury. She will also provide litigation support to the firm’s Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams.
