Uchenna Dance was founded in London in 2009 by Vicki Igbokwe. The company’s aim is to empower, educate and entertain through dance and theatre.

Set within a South London hair salon, The Head Wrap Diaries explores the stories of three women as they take us through tales of community, womanhood and hair.

The piece combines traditional dance with contemporary and is assisted by a diverse soundtrack ranging from House music to Ghanaian Gospel music.
