James McGovern, Damien Tuit, Cathal Roper, Gabriel Paschal Blake and Diarmuid Brennan form The Murder Capital, the Irish quintet that released their debut album, When I Have Fears,’in August 2019.

Their lyrics address the urgent need for regeneration in their hometown of Dublin, and whilst not overly melancholy in tone, the album seems to grieve the trials associated with coming of age.

If you’re a fan of PJ Harvey or the Bad Seeds, this band is one to watch out for.
