After a 6-year hiatus, the legendary MC has a new album on the way, so expect a mixture of old classics as well as brand new material at these very rare special shows. As a member of the Juice Crew, Kool G Rap began his career in the mid-1980s and was hailed as a pioneer of mafioso rap, street, hardcore and multisyllabic rhyming. As a result, he has been name-checked as a major influence to some of hip-hop’s most prominent figures including Jay-Z, Biggie, Nas and Eminem.
