Haydn Symphony No 88 in G
Mozart Clarinet Concerto in A
Beethoven Symphony No 3 in E flat ‘Eroica’

Recently voted the greatest symphony ever written by conductors polled for BBC Music Magazine, Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony is that rarest of masterpieces: one that summed up everything that had gone before, and opened new doors to the future. This amazing work shares a programme with ‘Papa’ Haydn’s witty 88th Symphony (party like it’s 1790!) and Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Concerto — a flawless, serene composition by the most gifted and troubled composer of all.

7.30pm, £18 – £5.
