Fifi Rong incorporates a wide range of genres such as Electronica, Pop, Dub, Hip Hop, Soundscape and Jazz nuanced with the flair of her Chinese heritage.
Makala Cheung makes electronic pop with a Chinese twist and urban influences.
More performances include: Movema (worlddance fusion), GKR Karate, Bristol Shaolin Wushu Academy, Chinese Lion Dance,Angels Dance Academy ( Home to National and World Hip Hop Championship dance groups such as Dark Angels), Ethereal, DJBelakia (Asian Hip Hop + K/Jpop), Simon B (from Guangzhou Underground), Streetenvy Dance & Fitness Academy.
There will also be stalls such as origami from Smiley Origami, calligraphy from Bristol & West of England China Bureau, manga &comics from Crown Root Publications and Bath Manga Society, lantern making and dumplings for sale.
The event comes in time for China’s Mid-Autumn festival – celebrating the moon, harvest, family and friendship.
