Bristol Bad Film Club: Don’t Open Till Christmas

This year’s Bristol Bad Film Club Christmas treat is a 1984 straight-to-video-nasty slasher/sex comedy in which a psycho is on the loose in London targeting people dressed as Santa. According to one reviewer (who’s over-fond of exclamation marks): “Words can hardly begin to say how truly bad this movie is! It is a Christmas turkey (with side trimming of cheese, natch) par excellence!” Fascinating trivia fact: the psycho is played by Alan Lake, third husband of Diana Dors, who committed suicide before the film was released.
