Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur, whose credits include The Deep and Everest, returns to the briny for his latest true-life human survival drama.
Shailene Woodley and Sam Clafin play young couple Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp, who embark on a romantic adventure sailing across the ocean back in 1983. What they don’t anticipate is that they’ll get caught up in one of the most severe hurricanes ever recorded. Adrift in the Pacific in their broken boat, they now face the challenge of finding dry land without any navigation tools.
