Octogenarian retired coal miner Lee Sexton and his wife Opal still farm the land where he was born in Kentucky’s Appalachian Mountains. He’s also something of a banjo legend, famed for his distinctive two-finger technique, which he continues to teach to an eager new generation.

Filmmakers Jeff Silva and Vic Rawlings will be present for a Q&A after this screening of their observational documentary, which follows the couple’s daily rituals and offers a unique insight into a vanishing cultural tradition.
