What’s Up, Doc?

Director
Peter Bogdanovich
Certificate
U
Running Time
94 mins

Hot from The Last Picture Show back in 1972, Peter Bogdanovich teamed up with screenwriters David Newman and Robert Benton (equally hot from Bonnie and Clyde) for what he initially envisaged as a remake of Bringing Up Baby.

Rarely screened today, their enjoyable, pacey homage to the classic screwball comedies of Howard Hawks and Preston Sturges sets absent-minded musicologist Ryan O’Neal on a collision course with kooky Barbra Streisand.
