Spike Print Studio Learning Programme: End of Year Show
“Spike Print Studio is the largest open-access print studio in the South West and a co-founding, not for profit studio group of Spike Island. Our spacious studio provides a creative environment for the public, members and artists to explore their work and offers technical support for them to produce original prints.
“Our Learning Programme is well established, with highly experienced tutors and a strong reputation. This exhibition celebrates the success, creativity and hard work of the students who have completed our 1 YEAR PORTFOLIO courses. Their work represents the exciting range of processes that we offer, with examples from screenprinting, relief printing, etching, photopolymer, textile screen printing, cyanotype, paper structures and collagraph.
“For the first time we are showing work produced on our NEW 1 Year Portfolio Courses in Paper Structures and Textile Printmaking which launched in September 2016. The success of these courses is reflected in the high quality of work on show and an expanded programme for 2017-2018 that includes Contemporary Relief Printing.
