My Bristol Favourites: Paul Crawford

Paul Crawford is the author of The Wonders of Doctor Bent about a goth-psychiatrist who tries to make a high-security hospital more humane.

Paul, the world’s first professor of health humanities, lives in Clifton with his wife Fei and daughter Lilibet, and works at the Institute of Mental Health based at the University of Nottingham.

He recently led the What’s Up With Everyone series of animations with Aardman to support young people’s mental health.
