These are Jasmine’s top-five Bristol favourites:
The Canteen

“The Canteen on Stokes Croft is a super fun vibrant sunny spot in the summer. My studio is upstairs so it’s always too tempting to come downstairs and enjoy the vibes. The staff are lovely, and there is live music and good food with a commitment to net zero.”
Bianchis

“It’s always such a treat going to Bianchis in Montpelier. The food is delicious, and the staff and family are lovely and generous, always making sure their guests are well looked after. It’s always a joy to see Dom in his element ready to greet you with a drink in hand or giving you a shout-out when you walk past!”
Burra

Burra now has three locations in Redland, Southville and Clifton Village – photo: Martin Booth
“There’s great coffee and a great menu at Burra. I love to see another Australian co-owned business doing so well in Bristol and really appreciate their sustainable approach by keeping to local suppliers within 25 miles.”
The Lido

“A little oasis and a lovely chance to catch a break and some calm sitting by the pool and forgetting you’re in a city. Good coffee and food. Like many, I’m hoping the waiting list at the Lido reopens soon!”
The Downs

“I miss having a garden space so it’s lovely to be able to come here and go for a walk in the green open space. It’s always fun to go and check out the goats in Goat Gully overlooking the Avon Gorge.”
