Party with pride – Hush at Basement 45
For Bristol Pride 2015, popular women’s night Hush teamed up with the networking group Indigo and Pride to create a very special after-party on Pride Night.
A first for Pride in Bristol, the girls took over Basement 45 on buzzing Frogmore Street. The night showcased some of the UKs best female DJs including awesome DJ collective Frau and local favourite Rrriot Paula.
Hush is the biggest girls night outside of London and welcomes all LGBQ+ women and their friends for a night of fun, dancing and great tunes.
Anna Rutherford, part of the Hush and Indigo team enthuses: “Visit Brighton, Manchester or London Pride and you’ll find a brilliant atmosphere at the women’s after-parties. In Bristol we’ve developed one of the best lesbian/LBT+ communities in the UK with Hush and Indigo, so it was high time for a Pride party! On a more serious note, our team were part of founding Pride in Bristol, so it’s great to be able to continue to work with the committed team at Pride to help protect and ensure its future”
