Murder charge over pregnant woman stabbing

A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a pregnant woman found stabbed in her Barton Hill home.

AbdiRashid Khadar, of no fixed abode, is due to appear before magistrates on Thursday.

Amal Abdi, also 21, from Somalia, was found unconscious on Sunday evening at a property in Morley Street and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
