Two men have been jailed for almost 29 years for false imprisonment and GBH in Bristol.

Blake Waldron, 24, of Wallingford Road, Knowle West and Curtis Jewell, 22, of Kenmare Road, Knowle West, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and false imprisonment.

They were jailed following an incident in July last year when a man was held inside a house and had one of his toes cut off in a dispute over missing drugs.

Yesterday, at Bristol Crown Court, Waldron was sentenced to 16 years and 3 months imprisonment and Jewell was sentenced to 12 years and 8 months imprisonment.

Investigating officer DC Cerys Millichip said: “Yesterday at Bristol Crown Court, Blake Waldren and Curtis Jewell have been jailed for a total of almost 29 years after being convicted of false imprisonment and wounding.

“This case is related to the supply of illegal drugs in Bristol and the violent behaviour associated with it.

“The victim in this case was seriously assaulted and the sentence handed down today reflects this.
