Man due in court over mosque attack
A 34-year-old man has been charge in connection with a hate crime where bacon sandwiches were allegedly thrown at a mosque
Kevin Shaun Crehan, of Springleaze, Knowle, Bristol, has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence following the incident on Sunday at Totterdown Jamia Mosque in Green Street. He was due to appear in court on Tuesday.
Police released CCTV images of a man and a woman wanted in connection with the incident where a St George cross was unfurled and abuse shouted at worshippers.
