Hunt for woman who attacked man with stiletto

A man was lucky to escape without life-changing injuries after a he was attacked by a woman with the heel of a stiletto in a city centre takeaway.

Police are on the hunt for the offender who struck her victim nine times in Sizzlers Pizza & Grill on College Green at 10.20pm on Friday November 27.

In CCTV released by police, a barefooted woman can be seen coming into the takeaway and grab her bag and a high-heel shoe from the counter.

Police said they want to identify the woman and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 with reference 5215050335.

Alternatively, witnesses can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
