Hundreds of cannabis plants seized

A cannabis farm of 340 plants with an approximate value in the region of £170,000 has been found growing in a house.

Police officers were alerted to the property in Filton after neighbours reported strong smells of cannabis.

Officers were granted access to the house on Filton Avenue by the property manager and found the hundreds plants growing in five different rooms.

The plants have been seized and will be destroyed.

The investigation is in progress and enquiries are being pursued to identify the offenders responsible.
