Fares protest at Bristol Temple Meads
Two protests took place at Bristol Temple Meads on Monday against a rise in rail fares.
During both the morning and evening rush hours, campaigners protested against the rise that could see regular train passengers paying up to £200 more each year.
The cost of a season ticket from Temple Meads and Parkway to destinations across the UK has risen by around 2.5 per cent, and the cost of individual fares has gone up by an average of 2.2 per cent.

Members of Action for Rail, The People’s Assembly, the Green Party and the RMT were at various points outside the station to show their concern over the price rises and also about proposed changes to inter-city trains which could lead to job losses.
