Blue and blood orange e-scooters and e-bikes coming to Bristol

By Martin Booth  Friday Mar 27, 2026

New blue and blood orange e-scooters and e-bikes will soon replace the turquoise vehicles across Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire.

Dott promise the new fleet of more than 3,000 e-scooters and 1000 e-bikes will offer their “best ride yet”.

Both the new e-bikes and e-scooters will have twice the amount of battery capacity than the current vehicles, with the e-scooters offering increased stability due to a larger deck and the e-bikes lighter than their turquoise predecessors.

Dott CEO, Maxim Romain, said: “We are incredibly proud to be re-investing in the service for our riders in the West of England region by deploying over 4,000 brand new vehicles.

“This new generation of e-bikes and e-scooters embodies the ‘best ride yet’ philosophy, offering superior comfort, safety and reliability.

“Our e-bikes are lighter, easier to use and more accessible, ensuring the best possible riding experience as we head into the spring season.”

West of England mayor, Helen Godwin, said: “The West of England trial is home to Dott’s largest and best performing fleet in the UK.

“Thousands of local passengers will be the first anywhere in the country to be able to use the latest generation of brand-new vehicles.

“They will welcome this latest investment in transport improvements alongside changes to the app to do more to highlight parking bays.”
