A warning to cyclists in Bristol

Cyclists in Bristol be warned: the metal stands that you lock your bike to might not be as secure as you think.

This Sheffield stand on the corner of Richmond Hill and Frederick Place in Clifton has been sawn through by thieves who can then simply remove the locked bike from the stand in seconds.

Similar dastardly ploys have seen thieves covering these cuts with tape or even foliage. The bastards.
