Havana Express

By Martin Booth  Monday Sep 29, 2014

When the sun is shining, there is no better place to be in Bristol than by the water. So Havana Express owner Hamid Parast is hoping for the sun to shine brightly on his new kiosk on Welsh Back – what he claims is the smallest greasy spoon in Bristol.

The food option at the moment is only a selection of rolls, but there will be pancakes, burgers and jacket potatoes on the full menu that is due to be starting next week.

Coffee is from Ciko Coffee in Clevedon, with soya milk and decaff options. The drinks menu also includes tea, milkshakes and smoothies.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

While the original Havana on Cotham Hill continues, the second Havana on Clifton Village was forced to close with the building it was in on Clifton Down Road due to be demolished before redevelopment.

The new Havana kiosk (formally Caesar’sCaesar’s) is sandwiched between the Glass Boat and Spyglass, the latter incidentally now concentrating on burgers in its Three Brothers guise.
